Shipping Guidelines

Every piece at Menthome is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans across India. Our designs are not mass-produced and often use natural materials and traditional techniques. Because of this, some variation and delays in production or delivery may occur. We appreciate your patience and understanding.


Domestic & International Shipping

  • We ship to most locations within India through trusted delivery partners.
  • International shipping is available. Costs vary based on product size, destination, and delivery method.
  • For international orders, please email care@menthome.in with your selected product, shipping address, and ZIP/postal code.
  • Orders cannot be redirected once dispatched.
  • All deliveries require a signature upon receipt.

Delivery Timelines

  • In-stock products are typically dispatched within 24–48 hours of order confirmation.
  • Furniture items (many of which are made-to-order) may take 2–4 weeks for delivery.
  • In case of unexpected delays, we will keep you informed. You may also reach out for shipment updates.

Delivery Terms

  • For ground floor addresses, delivery is to the doorstep.
  • For multi-storey buildings, delivery is up to the building’s lobby or security desk.
  • Internal movement or setup within the premises is the customer’s responsibility.
  • To ensure safety during transit, many items are secured in wooden crates. These may be bulky but are necessary to protect the product.
  • Customers are responsible for unboxing, preferably with help from a professional.
  • Any damage or defect must be reported immediately upon delivery, with details noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) and shared with care@menthome.in.

Payment Terms

  • 100% advance payment is required for all orders.
  • Secure online payment options are available.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for furniture or large items. COD is limited to select smaller products.

Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be cancelled only within 1 hour of placement.
  • After this window, cancellations are not permitted, and the full payment will be considered forfeited.
  • No refunds will be issued for late cancellation requests.

Delivery, Unboxing & Access Considerations

  • Delivery will be coordinated via call or SMS. Rescheduling may result in delays or additional charges.
  • Our partners are not equipped to lift items upstairs or unbox furniture.
  • Ensure that your order can pass through staircases, doorways, and elevators.
  • Refused deliveries due to access limitations will be at the customer's cost.
  • Re-delivery attempts, if needed, will incur extra charges.
  • Please share accurate contact and address details when placing the order, and inform us of any planned unavailability.

Open Delivery & Inspection

  • If packaging is visibly damaged, please note this clearly on the POD before accepting the item.
  • Inspect the product at the time of delivery.
  • Delivery agents are not authorized to open or assemble products. Please do not request this from them.

Holding Charges / Delayed Dispatch

If you request to delay dispatch after your order is ready:

  • We allow 1 week free holding at our warehouse.
  • After that, a Holding Fee of 5% per month (pro-rated if less) on the total order value applies, plus 18% GST.
  • These charges must be cleared before your order is dispatched.
  • This applies to full and partial orders.

Warranty Policy

  • Menthome products include a 6-month limited warranty from the date of purchase.
  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
  • It does not cover wear and tear, misuse, water damage, accidents, theft, or natural disasters.
  • Claims must be accompanied by purchase proof and supporting photos.
